I was not doing very good this morning at work, the customers keep me on the phone for a long time. All of a sudden my supervisor came over and told me to log off. I panic scare that I’m in trouble. My manager slowly explain to me that she picked me as the Employee of the Month for March and they were having a lunchen set for us at 3 pm. In a way I was surprise and excited that I got picked. Though I also think that she just ran out of people to choose. hehe. My manager asked me a few questions and told me that she would mention this at the lunchen.
So during 30 minutes lunch time, I bought myself a snake to eat therefore I wouldn’t be too loaded at the ceremony. At 3:00 I was reminded to log off and go to the big room. I met up with my supervisor Brenda and other people in the rooms. We ated lasagna, salad, and some breadstick from Olive Garden. The lasagna was amazing cheesy, well I don’t like cheese that much so I didn’t eat all that. I enjoyed my bread and salad. Then, the managers each take turn to announced their individual employee of the month. One of the girl broke out crying when her manager finished talking about her. It was strange that she got so emotional. I was kinda embarrassed when it was my turn, I noticed my manager was also nervous. She handed me certificated when she’s done. It was a great experience in a way. They took pictures afterward… I wonder where that would go.
